these were always my favorite scenes of the lorax; the onceler bending over to the lorax’s level just to intimidate him and make himself feel like he had power over something when he never really did
flops and rolls away thanks to the people who gave me hlep
Like picture a villain support group with these really badass awesome looking guys, like Cruella de Vil and Ursula and Jafar and Hexxus and Dr Facilier and Hades and Maleficent and Rasputin and Captain Hook
And then in the corner there’s Once-ler
Little baby-faced lanky Onceler wearing gardening gloves and pulling his fedora down self-consciously
And they’re all confused like “…What did you do”
“I built a corporate empire, made millions of dollars and made my entire world lifeless and uninhabitable. Successfully.”
And the other villains are just like daaaamn
if you ever feel down just remember the spacing and timing when it comes to the subtitles for the lorax
